Tec-Point CPD15EK – compact lithium-ion electric forklift for professional material handling

The Tec-Point CPD15EK from the EK Series is a compact and capable electric counterbalance forklift designed for professional use in warehousing, logistics, production, industrial operations and internal material handling. With a rated capacity of 1,500 kg, a 4,500 mm lift height and a triplex full free lift mast, the machine is well suited to daily transport, stacking and pallet-handling operations.

The total truck weight including the battery is 2,680 kg. Its compact dimensions, narrow overall width and small turning radius make the CPD15EK particularly suitable for precise manoeuvring inside warehouses, between racking and in confined working areas.

Modern lithium-ion technology and powerful electric drive

Power is supplied by a HeDing 76.8 V / 173 Ah lithium-ion battery, designed for professional day-to-day operation.

The truck incorporates the key assemblies used across the electric EK range, including the electric drive unit, battery system, external charger, steering axle and mast/lifting system. 

A 13 kW electric traction motor provides drive power, while a separate 13 kW lift motor supplies the lifting functions. This separation allows traction and lifting performance to be controlled independently according to operating requirements.

Advanced electronic control provides smooth and precise power delivery, supporting accurate manoeuvring and controlled load positioning.

Separate 100 A battery charger

The CPD15EK is supplied with a separate 100 A charger and dedicated charging connection.

Lithium-ion technology simplifies everyday energy management and removes the need for the traditional battery-changing procedures associated with older lead-acid systems.

The fully electric drive also provides zero local exhaust emissions, making the truck particularly suitable for warehouse, production and logistics environments.

Triplex full free lift mast

The CPD15EK is equipped with a Wide View Triplex Full Free Lift Mast, combining high lift capability with a compact closed mast height and good forward visibility.

Maximum lift height is 4,500 mm, while the mast measures only 1,990 mm when fully lowered.

Full free lift allows the forks to be raised without immediately increasing the overall mast height. With the load backrest fitted, the truck provides 976 mm of free lift, which is particularly useful when operating indoors, beneath doorways or in areas with restricted overhead clearance.

At the full 4,500 mm lift height and a 500 mm load centre, the residual capacity is 1,150 kg.

Compact dimensions for confined working areas

The CPD15EK has been designed for excellent manoeuvrability and precise positioning in restricted areas.

With an overall width of just 1,080 mm and a turning radius of 2,060 mm, the truck is well suited to narrow aisles, warehouse racking, production areas and other confined working environments.

Standard 1,070 mm fork tines are suitable for conventional pallet handling and a wide range of internal material-handling applications.

Robust chassis and durable tyre configuration

The chassis, steering axle and mast structure are designed for regular professional use in industrial, warehouse and logistics applications.

The offered machine is equipped with pneumatic front tyres and solid rubber rear tyres. This combination provides cushioning and traction at the front axle together with a robust and low-maintenance rear tyre solution.

A hydraulic service brake and mechanical parking brake provide a proven braking arrangement for everyday operation.

Precise travel and efficient lifting performance

The CPD15EK reaches a travel speed of up to 15 km/h, both laden and unladen.

Lift speed is up to 400 mm/s unladen and 280 mm/s laden, while the hydraulic working pressure is 18.5 MPa / 185 bar.

The combination of powerful electric motors, electronic control and hydraulic performance provides smooth lifting, lowering and accurate load positioning.

Practical operator station

The CPD15EK is configured as a conventional sit-down counterbalance forklift with an overhead guard.

The open operator station provides easy access and good all-round visibility of the working area, mast and load. The Wide View mast design further supports visibility when picking up, transporting and positioning pallets.

Fast and convenient charging

The HeDing 80 V / 230 Ah lithium-ion battery is designed for fast charging during professional day-to-day operation. For the EK Series, a charging time of approximately 1.5 to 2 hours is specified.

The intelligent charging system detects the battery parameters and automatically adjusts charging current and voltage. Protection against overheating and low battery condition, together with automatic shut-off when fully charged, supports safe and convenient charging
