Tec-Point ME26.9 – a compact mini excavator for professionals

The Tec-Point ME26.9 combines versatile performance with a comprehensive hydraulic system and a comfortable, enclosed operator’s cab. With an operating weight of 2,900 kg, it is a practical addition to the fleets of construction companies, landscaping contractors and municipal operators.

Power comes from a Yanmar 3TNV80F diesel engine delivering 15.2 kW, with a displacement of 1.267 litres. A maximum digging depth of 2.48 m and a maximum digging height of 4.06 m provide the working range for a variety of earthmoving, trenching and excavation tasks. The hydraulic quick hitch, hydraulic thumb and 500 mm bucket equip the machine for excavation, material handling and site preparation.

Precise control with load-sensing hydraulics

The load-sensing hydraulic system with a three-pump arrangement, combined with proportional pilot controls and joystick operation, provides fine control of the working movements. This allows the operator to position the attachment accurately and adjust movements to suit different digging and loading tasks.

Hydraulic cylinders with end-of-stroke cushioning provide smoother deceleration at the end of the cylinder stroke, reducing abrupt movements.

The hydraulic equipment includes the Le-HydrauliX system, an LX10VO28 hydraulic pump and an LX09EX-09YC main control valve. An Inline HM5X1500 motor powers the slew function, while the travel drive uses the Inline HM4V22 model.

Flexible operation in confined spaces

The boom offset function makes it easier to work alongside walls, foundations and other obstacles. It allows the digging position to be adjusted without having to reposition the entire machine each time.

With overall dimensions of 4,005 × 1,600 × 2,410 mm, the ME26.9 offers a compact design for everyday site work. High- and low-speed travel modes allow the operator to choose between slower manoeuvring and faster travel between work areas.

Auxiliary hydraulics routed to the boom end

The two-way auxiliary hydraulics are operated from the control handle. Hydraulic lines run to the end of the boom and are fitted with hydraulic quick-release couplings, making it easier to connect compatible hydraulic attachments.

Independently usable auxiliary lines provide additional connection options. Attachments should be selected to match the machine’s hydraulic specifications.

Operator comfort and protection

The enclosed ROPS cab with heating provides a protected workspace and comfortable working conditions on colder days. A Bluetooth radio adds to the cab’s convenience features, and a warning light is also included.

Electronic engine speed control with One-Touch-Idle allows the operator to reduce engine speed to idle at the touch of a button. Together with the joystick controls, this makes the machine convenient to operate throughout the working day.

Attachments included

The package includes a hydraulic quick hitch, a hydraulic thumb and a 500 mm bucket.

The quick hitch simplifies changes between compatible attachments. Used with a suitable bucket, the hydraulic thumb helps pick up, hold and sort materials.

A hydraulic quick hitch with a tilt function can be selected as an alternative to the quick hitch included in the package. This configuration is optional.
